Dear Maplewood families, what a wonderful week it has been! The book fair raised a record $2,340 for our library, and we want to thank every volunteer who gave their time.

Fall soccer registration closes this Friday, May 30 - forms are on the athletics portal.

In other news: picture day retakes are being scheduled for early June, the lost and found is overflowing again (please come claim jackets!), and the gymnasium renovation continues on schedule, so please keep using the Oak Street entrance until further notice.

What if Remy gets something wrong?

Nothing is sent, booked, or paid without your approval. You see the exact email or booking and press-and-hold to OK it. If a draft isn't right, edit it or just tell Remy in the chat.

What's the "beta" part?

Remy runs through TestFlight, Apple's app for trying new apps early. Getting in takes two taps: install TestFlight, then Remy. Sign in with Google and you're talking - nothing to configure.

What does it cost?

Free during the beta. We'll share pricing well before you'd ever be asked to pay.

Is my data private?

Remy reads your email and calendar to help you, and for nothing else. Never sold, never used for ads, never used to train AI models - and you can see and delete everything it knows, any time.

How does Remy use my Google account?

You sign in with Google, and Remy asks permission to read Gmail and Google Calendar. It uses that access to do the work you ask for: catching you up on email, answering schedule questions, drafting replies, and booking events. Anything that sends or changes - an email, a calendar event - waits for your explicit approval in the app. Full detail in our Privacy Policy and vendor list.

How is this different from ChatGPT or Siri?

ChatGPT can tell you about your dentist. Remy books the appointment. Siri reads one email. Remy triages your whole inbox. An assistant that does real work, not a chatbot that talks about it.

Do I need to install anything weird?

Just the iPhone app. No CLI, no browser extension, no daemon running on your laptop.

When can I try it?

We're onboarding in small batches to keep the experience tight. Join the waitlist and we'll reach out as we open the next cohort.
